Why we’re focusing on both certifications

Our customers expect to see independent, industry-standard audits of our operations, and we believe that SOC 1 and SOC 2 are the best frameworks to give our customers confidence in how we operate.

The SOC 1 certification shows we have the processes and quality mechanisms in place to ensure that customer billing data is processed securely, repeatably and accurately. This audit provides our customers with the utmost confidence that m3ter will calculate their customers’ bills correctly.

The SOC 2 certification demonstrates that m3ter has the appropriate policies, processes and controls in place to maintain the security, availability and confidentiality of customer data. Our customers' trust m3ter with their business-critical data and this certification demonstrates our commitment to treating that data appropriately.
